Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Msgr. John Baruch:

Msgr. John Baruch was ordained a priest in 1930, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Allentown. He was a diocesan consultor member of the Council of Priests from 1972-84, and dean of the South Schuylkill Deanery from 1977-78. He was named an Honorary Prelate of His Holiness with the title of Monsignor by Pope Paul VI in 1974.

According to media reports, Baruch’s name was included on the Diocese of Allentown 2018 list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. It noted he has been the subject of one allegation which was reported after Baruch’s death.  The allegation was not included in the August 2018 PA grand jury report. (details undisclosed),

Baruch died in 1995.  At the time, he was a priest in good standing with the Diocese of Allentown.
