Father Vincent Stancelewski was ordained a priest in 1918 who served in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. According to media reports, in August 2018, his name was included on a list of clergy who were already deceased when an allegation of child sexual abuse was made against them. Details of the allegation, including the number of alleged victims or when and where the alleged misconduct occurred, are unknown. The allegation was filed in 2004, 40 years after the priest’s death.

Father Stancelewski died in 1964. He is buried in the cemetery of the same parish he helped to build in the 1930s, SS. Philip and James Church, were he served for 42 years.
