Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Sister Mercedes Graber:

In 2020, Sr. Mercedes Graber was named in a lawsuit and accused of sexual abuse of a minor from 1978 to 1981 while serving at Mercy High School in Albany, NY. Very little is known of Graber’s activities within the church as the Diocese of Albany has not released all of the information about the age/gender of her alleged victim/victims or the nature of the alleged sexual abuse.

Graber is one of four sisters of nuns in her family. She joined the Sisters of Mercy in 1944.

Graber died in 1997.
