Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Sister Rosaire Anne:

A Sister of St. Joseph for 60 years, Sr. Rosaire Anne DeMare has spent most of her life serving her community. She served in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses schools as a teacher, administrator, principal, and library media specialist.

In June 2020, Sr. DeMare was named in a civil lawsuit filed against the Diocese of Albany. According to media reports, she has been accused of sexually abusing a minor from 1963 to 1964 at St. Joseph in Green Island, NY. No information on the allegation regarding the age/gender of the victim was given.
