Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Brother Adrian Furman:

Br. Adrian Furman was a member of the Franciscan Friars. In 2019, Furman was included on a list of priests in the Santa Barbara Province Franciscans list and the Diocese of Oakland who was named as being “credibly accused” of child sex abuse.

The Santa Barbara Province Franciscans have not released any dates about Furman’s earlier assignment history nor the year he joined the order. In addition, information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Furman’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

It is only noted that there was a report received in 2002 and 2010 against Furman in reference to abuse that took place from 1959-1965. Furman died in 2003.
