Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Aldo Tos:
Father Aldo Tos twice served as a pastor and also as an educator at three high schools in the Archdiocese of New York. He retired in 2006 and died in 2014. According to media reports, in April 2019, his name appeared on the Archdiocese of New York’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted he was removed from ministry. The details of the allegations, including when and where the abuse occurred, are unknown. Claims against him are eligible to be settled through the Independent Reconciliation and Compensation Program (IRCP). His laicization process was pending at the time of death.
