Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Brian Buff:
In 1994, Brian C. Buff, a teacher, was sentenced to 3 to 9 years in prison after he admitted to enticing two of his teenage students to have sex with him. Buff pleaded guilty to the repeated sexual abuse of two 16-year-old youths in Monroe, Albany, and Rensselaer counties.
Initially, Buff was charged with multiple counts of sodomy, sex abuse, endangering the welfare of child, conspiracy, and harassment. The charges stem from the alleged abuse of two male students at Troy’s Catholic Central High School
Additionally, Buff taught at Aquinas Institute in Rochester and served as vice principal of Catholic Central High School in Troy.
In one case, a youth from Troy said he visited Buff in Rochester and the teacher performed oral sex on him.
In the other, another youth allegedly had sex with a former teacher, Mary Anne Cioffi, while Buff watched. Cioffi has pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and faces up to one year in jail.
Buff is believed to be living in Albany, New York, according to public records.
