Randi Zurenko of Millerstown, PA, had sexual relations with two female students while teaching at Bishop McDevitt High School, a private Catholic school in Harrisburg. One of the relationships lasted from January 2013 to October 2016, while the other relationship began in early 2015 and ended in October 2016, according to WPMT FOX 43.

In 2016, Zurenko was arrested on sexual assault charges, with 13 counts of institutional sexual assault, 153 of Sexual abuse of children, 33 of unlawful contact with minors, 20 of dissemination of obscene material to a minor and 13 counts of corruption of minors.

According to the news reports, the girls were sexually abused hundreds of times. Zurenko admitted to massaging, undressing them, sexual relations, and supplying them with alcohol on numerous occasions. Zurenko was sentenced 11 to 23 months in jail, followed by 4 years of probation and 500 hours of community service.

In May 2020, Randi Zurenko was included on the List of Credibly Accused Non-Clergy by the Diocese of Harrisburg for reports made from her time teaching at Bishop McDevitt High School. Court documents say he drove through the drive-through and left, then returned after an agent he thought was a child called his cellular phone.

Sherrid was let go from Lebanon Catholic High but was also a third-grade teacher at another nearby school. Sherrid is on the Youth Protection List of Credibly Accused Non-Clergy connected to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg and currently lives in Lebanon, PA.

Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Jesus Omar Sandoval:

Jesus Omar Sandoval, a Spanish teacher and a Girls Varsity Soccer Coach at Lebanon Catholic High School in West Lebanon Township, was arrested for engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl on school property. The sexual abuse occurred over a period of months between October 2013 and April 2014.

According to the police’s criminal complaint, Sandoval obtained the teen’s cell phone number and began texting about school-related items. Eventually, the conversation turned into flirtations, according to police. The teen told police about visiting Sandoval’s classroom after school hours and said they would kiss. Police say he invited the teen to his home via text message and phone calls.

Officials say they began their investigation after receiving a report from Pennsylvania’s child abuse hotline, “ChildLine,” in September of 2016. Authorities say a similar investigation concerning Sandoval occurred last year in Sept. 2015. Police officials stated that Sandoval surrendered to police in 2016 and was charged with statutory sexual assault, institutional sexual assault, corruption of minors, indecent sexual assault of someone under the age of 16, and unlawful contact with a minor.

Sandoval was placed on administrative leave in early September 2016 after the school, and police were made aware of the allegations and fired when convicted.  Sandoval is on the Youth Protection List of Credibly Accused Non-Clergy connected to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg.

In 2004, the Derry Township Police arrested Randall Meagher following a thorough police investigation after a parent of one 14-year-old boy made sexual assault allegations against him. Meagher was a band director at Bishop McDevitt High School, where he met the victim. He was charged with six criminal counts, ranging from corruption of a minor to criminal solicitation to committing involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.  Meagher was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

As required by the Diocesan Youth Protection Policy, Mr. Meagher was placed on administrative leave, pending the investigation, and eventually terminated. The principal of the high school sent letters to the parents of students, faculty, and members of the school board to inform them of the situation. The Diocese of Harrisburg released a public statement in regard to the investigation on June 30, 2004.

Currently, Randall Meagher is a home business expert in the Harrisburg area. He no longer teaches music or works with children.
