Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Z. Enrique Perez:

A Columbia native, Fr. Z. Enrique Perez was ordained for the Congregation of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri (Oratorian). Two allegations were reported to the Diocese of Sacramento in 2001 and 2002, of sexual abuse to young males between the ages of 18-25 while he was serving at Immaculate Conception in Sacramento, California. After the allegations surfaced, Fr. Perez had his faculties removed, and he retired in 2003. He then returned to the Bogota Oratorian community. Perez was named publicly as accused by the Sacramento Diocese in 2019.
