Br. William J. Nash, was a Jesuit Brother of the Oregon Province.
In 2011, Nash’s name was included on the Oregon Province’s list of its members who have been identified as perpetrators of sexual abuse.
In 2018, Nash was also included on the Jesuits West Province list named as being credibly accused of child sex abuse. It notes allegations reported in 2009 in reference to abuse that took place in 1953-1959.
At the time of the abuse, Nash was assigned to Sacred Heart Mission in DeSmet, Idaho from 1934-1958 and to Mount St. Michael’s in Spokane, Washington from 1958-1961. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims or the nature of the alleged sexual abuse is unknown.
Nash died in 1984.
