Father William O’Brien was identified on a list of clergy who were already deceased when allegations of child sexual abuse were filed against them. Very little is known of the allegations against O’Brien except that the accusations were filed after O’Brien died in 1992, but before the Diocese of Pittsburgh began reporting post-mortem allegations in 2002.

His exact burial location is unknown.
