Fr. Andrew Gabriel Encinas was ordained a priest in 1990 and served in multiple parishes in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in November 2018, his name appeared on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ updated list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted an allegation reported in 2009, that Father Encinas sexually abused a minor child from 1993 to 1994. Father Encinas went on inactive leave in 1998. His faculties were removed by decree in 2010. He was last reported to be living in Upland, California. He is believed to be working as a marriage and family therapist in Pomona, California.
