Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Virendra Coutts:
Fr. Virendra Coutts was a member of the Salesians of Don Bosco religious order. In 2019, his name appeared on the Diocese of Oaklands’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. Very little is known of Coutts’ activities within the church as the Diocese of Oakland has not released any information about Coutts’ assignment history. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Coutts’ assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.
