Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Br. Albert Pellerin:

Albert Pellerin entered the Dominican Order in 1935, and took his final vows as a religious brother in 1937, and served in the Diocese of Portland. He celebrated his 50th anniversary in the order in June 1987. According to documents released by the Maine Attorney General’s Office in 2005, the Diocese of Portland received an allegation of sexual abuse in the 1960’s against Br. Pellerin in 2002. The victim claims that Br. Pellerin took him to his room and groped him while fully clothed. Information regarding the age of the alleged victim and the location of the incident was not provided by the Diocese of Portland.

Br. Albert Pellerin died in 1987.
