Summary of Abuse Allegations against Msgr. Francis Nave:

In June 2018, the Diocese of Allentown was sued by a young man who alleged that he met Nave online through a gay social media site when he was just 16, which led to online counseling sessions. During the sessions, according to the lawsuit, Nave enticed the child to engage in masturbation while on camera with the priest.

According to the Diocese of Allentown, Nave was removed from ministry the day the lawsuit was filed and remains on leave while law enforcement investigates the allegations. The suit was settled in September 2018 for an undisclosed amount.

Nave was not discussed in the August 2018 grand jury report.

His current location is unknown.
