Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Dennis J. LaRoche:

Father Dennis J. LaRoche was ordained in the Maryknoll order. He served for some time as a missionary in the Philippines and in East Africa. The dates of his service are unknown. He also served in Texas at Our Lady of Fatima, in Galena Park and at St. Cyril of Alexandria in Houston. In November 1987, he left Texas to serve in Vermont until August 1992, when his assignment was “terminated” and he returned to his order. He left the ministry in February 1993.

According to media reports, in January 2019, Father LaRoche’s name appeared publicly on the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. In August 2019, his name was included on the Diocese of Burlington’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors.

He currently lives in Swanton, Vermont.
