Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Dominic De Domenico:

Fr. Dominic De Domenico was ordained a Dominican Friar priest in 1966, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of San Jose, and in the Oakland Diocese. According to media reports, in 2005, he was accused of grooming and crossing sexual boundaries with a 15-year-old girl in the mid-1970s, and continuing into adulthood. The archdiocese reportedly knew in at least 1987. The Sexual Misconduct Committee recommended Fr. De Domenico’s return to ministry based on his comprehensive psychological assessment. Despite the assessment, the Western Dominican Province has not returned him to public ministry. He is employed on-site but does not have contact with youngsters.

In 2005, he was not in public ministry and was living at St. Albert’s Priory in Oakland, CA.
