Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Dominique Doyon:

Fr. Dominique Doyon was ordained a Dominican priest in 1933. According to media reports, he was accused of molesting two boys in Lewiston in the 1960s and ’70s, when he lived in the monastery at SS Peter and Paul church. In 2002, the Diocese of Portland reported a man alleged that Fr. Doyon performed multiple sex acts on him including masturbation and oral sex.

In 2003, another man told the Diocese of Portland that he was sexually abused by three members of the Dominican order, including Fr. Doyon. The victim said they repeatedly fondled him over and beneath his clothing from 1968-1972 beginning when he was a 14-year-old high school sophomore, until he graduated.

In 2005, Fr. Doyon was reported to be deceased, however, the date of his death is unknown.
