The Diocese of Ogdensburg released a list of 28 priests who were credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor or a vulnerable adult on November 13th, 2018. One priest that was first named publicly for sexual abuse of a minor by the list was Father John Wiley.

The Diocese of Ogdensburg did not include the number of alleged victims or the time frame that the alleged abuse occurred.

The only information given about Father Wiley was that he died in February of 1984.
