Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Ramon Malfo:

Fr. Ramon Malfo was appointed in 1976. According to media reports, he was assigned to various locations in San Diego County, including churches in San Diego, Oceanside, Chula Vista, Vista, Fallbrook, and Escondido.

Very little is known of Malfo’s activities within the church as the Diocese of San Diego has not released the information about Malfo’s assignment history, only the cities in which he was assigned. In addition, information about the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Malfo’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown. However, according to media reports, the plaintiff claims he was abused in Rialto during the 1970s.

The plaintiff’s lawyer filed a complaint about Malfo in the parish and there was a settlement through an independent compensation program established in 2019 for victims who were sexually abused as minors by parish priests in San Diego.

Malfo’s current whereabouts are unknown.
