Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Mr. David Yarros:

According to court records, David Yarros was arrested in May 2005 and charged with corruption of minors and harassment, both misdemeanors, after he was discovered having “lewd conversations” with a student.  Yarros soon accepted a plea deal that allowed him to plead guilty to the lower-level harassment charge and receive a six-month suspended sentence. The corruption charge was dropped.

There are no public allegations that Yarros engaged in any type improper physical contact with a minor child.

According to the Diocese of Scranton, Yarros is still alive and residing in the Scranton area.  He is 50 years old.  He is not a registered sex offender and he is not monitored by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in any way (e.g., parole, probation).
