Summary of Abuse Allegations against Monsignor John Kempczynski:

According to media reports, in August 2019, Monsignor John Kempczynski was named in a Child Victims Act lawsuit alleging that he sexually abused a child, who was about 6 years old in 1971. The alleged abuse, which lasted for about a year, occurred while he was serving as the pastor of St. Rose of Lima in Forestville. The suit was the first time Monsignor Kempczynski has been accused. He retired in 1995, and died in 2009.
