Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Sister Anthony Pereira:

In 2004, Sister Anthony Louise Pereira was named in a multi-plaintiff suit against the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, a priest, and several nuns. The details of the sexual abuse allegations, including the victim’s age/gender, are unknown. 

The plaintiff alleged that he was abused as a child at the St. Thomas-St. Vincent Orphanage in Anchorage, Kentucky. He alleged that he was sexually abused by Pereira and another nun.

The Order confirmed that Pereira worked at the orphanage from 1946-1965. Pereira’s last known whereabouts were in San Mateo, California. Pereira is deceased, however, the year is unknown.
