Summary of Abuse Allegations against Sister Mary Joseph Killeen:

Sister Mary Joseph Killeen was a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph Carondelet. She professed her final vows in 1929 and served as a teacher and nurse in Idaho, Arizona, Washington, and California. According to media reports, she was a named in a civil lawsuit accusing her of child sexual abuse while working in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles

No further information on the abuse allegations have been released. Her whereabouts and whether she had access to children until her death in 1971 are unknown. The accusation came after her death. Her Order said it found nothing to substantiate the claims. Her personnel file was released in 2013, consisting of only 12 pages.
