Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Terrence Reilly:

Fr. Terrence Reilly was a Dominican priest with ties to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Archdiocese of San Francisco, and Diocese of Oakland. According to media reports, in 2002, a victim reported child sexual abuse by Fr. Reilly while he was a student at Daniel Murphy High School in 1976. Fr. Reilly has also been accused of child sexual abuse at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Los Angeles.

Fr. Reilly was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2004 list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. It noted at least four people have accused the priest of child sexual abuse, and that in 2003, he was named in a civil lawsuit. Fr. Reilly was sent to live at St. Albert’s Priory in Oakland, a location where many accused priests were housed.

Fr. Reilly died in 2016.

In October 2018, his name was included on the San Bernardino Diocese of San Bernardino list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. It notes that an incident of child sexual abuse took place in Eugene OR in 1983, and it was reported in May 1993, when Reilly left the diocese.

Fr. Reilly’s name was included on the Dominicans St. Joseph Province list in late 2018. It notes his transfer in 1974 to the Province of the Holy Name.

Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Terrence Reilly:

According to media reports, at least three people have accused Fr. Terrence Reilly of child sexual abuse. Ordained a Dominican Priest, Reilly was accused in a civil lawsuit in 2003 alleging child sexual abuse. According to the Diocese of San Bernardino, Reilly worked at Notre Dame High School in Riverside, California from 1988 to 1993 when the Diocese became aware of sexual abuse allegations involving Reilly.

In 2002, a victim reported child sexual abuse by Reilly while he was a student at Daniel Murphy High School in 1976. Reilly has also been accused of child sexual abuse at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Los Angeles. It was rumored that in 2003, Reilly was sent to live at St. Albert’s Priory in Oakland, CA, a location where many accused priests were housed.
